We've all been there. You come across a lipstick shade that looks so incredibly amazing in the tube that you just have to have it! But before you add it to your cart and pull the trigger you wonder,but how will it actually look on me? While usually you're left to a game of trail and error that you hope doesn't end in a #makeupfail and a waste of your money, there's now a new Instagram account that can actually help answer your question!
Appropriately named willitlookgoodonmetho, the Instagram account is run by two friends with different skin tones who want to make it easier for others to figure out what a particular lipstick shade might look like on them. And their approach is pretty genius: each girl tries on the same lipstick and then they snap a selfie together so you can see what it looks like on each of them. While their skin tones might not be the exact same as yours, their pics will at least give you frame of reference. In their feed you'll find pics of them wearing everything from bubblegum pinks, chocolate browns, and bright reds to punchy purples and even deep blues. In the captions they list exactly which brand and shade they're testing out so if you see something you like you can go and snap it up immediately! Worth the follow, if you ask us.
